Plengkung known as one of the best surfing beaches in the world and is located at coordinates S: 08 43 '57, 1 "and E: 114 20 '56.5" The "G" in "G-Land" derives from Grajagan, where the name of the bay large waves that are found in the south of Banyuwangi. It is surrounded by virgin tropical forest land. G youth offers the world's most demanding surfing sport, and recommended for professional surfers only.
May to October is the best time to surf. No doubt it is a world surfer paradise. You can go to G-land to make a reservation at the site G-Land Bobby Surf Camp , www.grajagan.com, you can choose two options of transportation, first directly to G-Land with Speed Boat (G-Land Express) and two , by land (bus) to Banyuwangi and directly to National Park Alas Purwo, G-Land or cross the Gulf Grajagan to Plengkung beach where the waves challenge invite the surfers. However it is not recommended for novice surfers.
